What is ClickBank?

ClickBank is one of the web’s largest retailers of digital products. Using ClickBank, Internet entrepreneurs are able to sell their digital goods in ClickBank’s Marketplace, which consists of more than 50,000 digital products and is used by over 100,000 active affiliate marketers.

Anyone can signup through ClickBank for free and earn commissions as an affiliate marketer by promoting products from the ClickBank Marketplace. ClickBank accepts affiliates from over 150 countries and requires that affiliates own a website to promote products and provide a valid email address and phone number.

How ClickBank Works

“Each time a visitor to any affiliate site clicks on the product link, the visitor is referred back to the vendor’s site where the product can be purchased through ClickBank and downloaded. ClickBank completes the transaction (processes the payment and screens for fraud, etc.) and pays both the vendor and the referring affiliate” – ClickBank.com

ClickBank’s online marketplace serves as an intermediary for product vendors, affiliate marketers, and consumers. Using ClickBank, individuals or businesses can sell products as vendors and affiliate marketers can promote those products for consumers to buy.

  • Sell Products (Vendors): Product vendors who wish to sell their digital products are able to do so through the ClickBank Marketplace. Vendors must have a ClickBank vendor account to submit a product. ClickBank charges vendors a one-time activation fee of $49.95 for their first vendor account. Once ClickBank approves the vendor’s product, the product is available in the ClickBank Marketplace and available for ClickBank affiliates to promote. Vendor’s then receive payment from ClickBank for each product sale. ClickBank keeps a $1 transaction charge, plus 7.5% of the retail price for each sale.
  • Promote Products (Affiliates): Affiliates can find products to promote in ClickBank’s Marketplace with a ClickBank affiliate account. ClickBank offers a variety of products, over 50,000, that are available to promote. There is no charge to activate an affiliate account. ClickBank affiliates receive a commission for every sale made through their account. ClickBank affiliates can receive commissions up to 75%.  Affiliate payments are handled by ClickBank, with weekly payments and direct deposits available. Affiliates can receive combined commissions from all promotions.
  • Buy Products (Consumers): Consumers are able to buy products on the ClickBank network from across the Internet. Because ClickBank products are digital, goods are delivered instantly to consumers. ClickBank offers order processing, fraud prevention, and customer support for all its digital products. ClickBank accepts credit cards and PayPal as payment. In addition, ClickBank handles multiple currencies and will collect, calculate and remit taxes based on the customer’s location. ClickBank also offers a 60 day money back guarantee on all products sold through the marketplace.
